About Our Client Our client is a small - medium well established industrial manufacturing company in the cooling / pumps and gears space. They are experiencing high growth right now with the rise of Data Center builds - and are actively looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team. Job Description • Develop and execute strategies to expand cooling, pumping and gears business within the power / data center sector. • Identify and secure new sales opportunities to achieve revenue growth targets. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery. • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities. • Prepare and present proposals, reports, and presentations to clients and management. • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales goals. • Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on business development initiatives. The Successful Applicant A successful Business Development Manager - Data Center should have: • Proven expertise in business development within the Power / Data Center Industry. • Experience selling cooling, pumping and gears solutions is a large plus. • Experience selling into construction builds, EPC firms and working through a channel a huge plus. • Strong understanding of the data center sector and its unique equipment requirements. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients and stakeholders. • Ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable strategies. • A proactive and goal-oriented mindset to drive results in a competitive environment.
