MeVitae is seeking a full-time Algorithm Developer to join our development team, whom will help drive changes through MeVitae by creating insights from data and build AI techniques. The ideal candidate is someone who is particularly interested in using AI to understand language, and enjoys designing new ideas and exploring new applications and modifications of existing algorithms. The role will involve the development of software using test driven methodologies and following software development best practices, and so experience with this is beneficial. We are looking for scientists who are passionate about technology and want to apply technical techniques to solve real-world open-ended problems that haven’t been approached before. You will help develop capabilities for language modelling, predictive modelling, text mining, dimensionality reduction, numerical optimisation, applied mathematical methods and other advanced statistical techniques.
