Role Overview: As a Claims Representative working from home, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their insurance claims, ensuring they understand their rights and receive the compensation they deserve. What You'll Do: - You will review and analyze insurance claims to determine coverage and validity. - You will communicate directly with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates. - You will negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of clients to maximize claim settlements. - You will maintain accurate records of claims and client interactions. - You will stay informed about industry regulations and policy changes. - You will participate in training sessions to enhance your claims handling skills. - You will manage your schedule effectively to meet client needs and company goals. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience in insurance claims, public adjusting, or a related field. - You have strong negotiation and communication skills. - You are self-motivated and able to work independently from a home office. - You possess basic computer skills and are comfortable using claims management software. - You have a valid license or certification related to public adjusting (preferred but not required). Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working remotely or in a flexible work environment. - Knowledge of state insurance laws and regulations. - Previous experience in customer service or client advocacy. - Additional certifications in insurance or claims adjusting.
