Role Overview: As a Claim Representative at Metro Public Adjustment, you will play a crucial role in supporting homeowners through the insurance claim process. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their claims are handled efficiently and effectively. What You'll Do: - You will review and analyze insurance policies and claim documents to determine coverage and entitlements. - You will communicate directly with homeowners to gather necessary information and provide updates on claim status. - You will negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of clients to secure maximum claim settlements. - You will prepare detailed reports and documentation to support claim submissions and appeals. - You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims. - You will maintain accurate records of all client interactions and claim activities. - You will stay informed about industry regulations and best practices to provide expert guidance. - You will manage multiple claims simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years experience in insurance claims, public adjusting, or a related field. - Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claim procedures, and negotiation techniques. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and insurers. - Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office and claims management software. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong time management skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification as a Public Adjuster or related professional designation. - Experience working in a remote or flexible work setting. - Familiarity with state insurance regulations and compliance requirements. - Bilingual abilities to support a diverse client base.
