Role Overview: As a Claim Representative at Metro Public Adjustment, you will play a crucial role in assisting homeowners to receive the maximum benefits from their insurance claims. This remote position offers flexible hours, allowing you to manage your work-life balance while contributing to our mission of client advocacy and satisfaction. What You'll Do: - You will review and analyze insurance claims to ensure accuracy and completeness. - You will communicate directly with homeowners to gather necessary information and provide updates. - You will collaborate with insurance companies to negotiate claim settlements on behalf of clients. - You will maintain detailed records of claim progress and client interactions. - You will stay informed about industry regulations and policy changes to provide accurate advice. - You will participate in ongoing training to enhance your knowledge and skills. - You will manage multiple claims simultaneously while meeting deadlines. - You will provide exceptional customer service to build trust and rapport with clients. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1 year experience in insurance claims, customer service, or a related field. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment. - Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with claim management software. - Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Previous experience in public adjusting or insurance adjusting. - Knowledge of insurance policies and claim processes. - Experience working from home or in a remote role. - Additional certifications related to insurance or claims management.
