Project Manager – Site Remediation The Project Manager is responsible for managing site remediation projects from planning through execution and closeout. This role oversees scope, schedule, budget, safety, and regulatory compliance, and serves as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies. Candidates with backgrounds in environmental remediation, construction, or environmental consulting are encouraged to apply. Duties & Responsibilities • Manage site remediation projects through all phases of delivery. • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and change management. • Coordinate with clients, environmental consultants, subcontractors, and regulators. • Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications and documentation. • Ensure work is performed in compliance with permits, regulations, and health and safety requirements. • Lead and support field teams, Superintendents, and contractors to achieve project goals. • Manage subcontractor billing, cost tracking, and project closeout activities. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • Knowledge of site remediation methods and environmental construction practices. • Understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements. • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic field environment. • Proficiency with standard business software; familiarity with project management or estimating tools is a plus. Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field preferred. • Five (5) or more years of experience in project management, site remediation, or environmental consulting. • Experience supporting or managing remediation projects (soil, groundwater, site closures, or brownfields) preferred. • 40-hour HAZWOPER or 8-hour HAZWOPER Refresher preferred. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Work Environment • Field-based work in outdoor remediation environments with exposure to heavy equipment and variable weather conditions.
