I'm currently partnered with a leading Food & Beverage manufacturer looking to appoint a Procurement & Inventory Manager to join their growing Supply Chain team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of procurement and inventory strategy across a fast-paced food manufacturing operation, ensuring materials are available to meet production requirements while driving supplier performance, inventory optimisation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities • Lead procurement of raw materials, ingredients and packaging. • Manage inventory levels to ensure material availability while minimising waste. • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving performance and cost efficiencies. • Collaborate with Operations, Production and Supply Chain teams to support manufacturing requirements. • Analyse procurement and inventory data to improve forecasting, inventory accuracy and operational performance. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing and inventory processes. What I'm looking for • 5+ years' experience in Procurement, Inventory or Supply Chain within Food & Beverage Manufacturing. • A strategic, proactive professional with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, inventory management and data analysis. Experience with forecasting tools is advantageous. • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. • A track record of improving procurement, inventory and overall supply chain performance. Location: Upper Midwest, US
