Business Development Manager Location: New England Region (Based out of Worcester, MA) Company: METech Recycling Travel: Regional (New England & Northeast) About METech Recycling METech Recycling is a nationally recognized electronics, IT asset disposition (ITAD), battery, and solar recycling company with R2v3 and ISO-certified facilities across the U.S. We support enterprise, municipal, medical, OEM, and energy-sector clients with compliant, secure, and sustainable recycling solutions. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to support growth in the New England region, working closely with our Worcester facility and national operations team. Position Overview The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new business, expanding existing client relationships, and positioning METech as a trusted partner for compliant recycling and ITAD services. This role is both strategic and hands-on—ideal for someone comfortable opening doors, managing complex opportunities, and coordinating internally to deliver results. Key Responsibilities • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across New England • Manage and grow a regional pipeline of commercial, municipal, medical, OEM, and energy clients • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, from introduction through execution • Work closely with Operations, Compliance, Pricing, and Customer Service to develop accurate proposals and scopes of work • Support RFPs, RFQs, and contract renewals, including pricing coordination and compliance documentation • Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations (virtual and in-person) • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity reporting • Represent METech professionally at industry events, facility tours, and client meetings Qualifications & Experience • 3+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience • Experience in recycling, ITAD, waste services, logistics, sustainability, or industrial services strongly preferred • Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and close deals • Comfortable working with technical service offerings and compliance-driven clients • Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills • Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft 365 • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally What We’re Looking For • Self-starter with strong ownership mentality • Professional, credible, and client-focused • Detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate across teams • Comfortable balancing relationship-building with operational realities • Someone who understands that execution and trust matter as much as sales Compensation & Benefits • Competitive base salary + performance-based incentive plan • Health benefits and paid time off • Mileage and travel reimbursement • Opportunity to grow with a national company expanding in high-growth recycling markets Why METech • R2v3 and ISO-certified operations • National platform with regional execution • Long-term client relationships—not transactional sales • Strong operations support behind every deal • Growing presence in batteries, solar, and advanced recycling
