MetaPhase supports a federal strategic communications and training section responsible for delivering policy-informed messaging, targeted training, and public-facing communications aligned to regulatory standards and national security priorities. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to produce accurate, accessible content and communications solutions that strengthen compliance, promote data integrity, and support informed decision-making across the program. In support of this project, MetaPhase is seeking a Digital Communications and Content Lead with at least five (5) years of experience to lead external communications efforts, oversee content development and lifecycle management, and provide project coordination and operational support to the federal customer. This role will drive high-quality deliverables through strong writing and editing skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues. The Digital Communications and Content Lead will work independently while guiding team efforts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely execution across communications and outreach activities. What You Will Be Doing: Lead and oversee external communications support, including website content management, social media, and public-facing messaging aligned to program priorities. Manage and execute communications plans, coordinating across federal stakeholders to develop, review, and publish content for web, social media, newsletters, and outreach initiatives. Oversee content lifecycle activities including drafting, editing, federal clearance, publishing, and ongoing audits to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency. Monitor media and social channels, producing reports, summaries, and background materials to inform leadership and support strategic messaging. Coordinate cross-agency communications and outreach efforts, ensuring alignment with DHS components and external partners. Supervise and guide team members, ensuring quality deliverables, adherence to processes, and effective workload management. What We Need From You (Required): Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in program analysis, communications, or project management, preferably supporting federal programs. Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating teams and managing deliverables in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment. Strong writing, editing, and content development skills with experience producing public-facing communications. Experience managing websites, social media platforms, and/or digital content in a structured review and approval environment. Ability to analyze information, solve problems proactively, and ensure high-quality, error-free deliverables under tight deadlines. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $90k-110k.
