Full Description

The Product Security Group is looking for an experienced manager to support a team of security engineers focused on driving security maturity for one of our product surfaces (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc). Your role would be to build a team of security engineers, set strategy, and lead execution, ensuring our products are hardened against attackers. Security Engineering Manager Responsibilities: Perform research to identify new ways of achieving your missionWork with vulnerability management, offensive security group, and other security programs to align remediation efforts and best protect the company from known threatsDesign, scope, and lead technical assessments on Meta productsManage the building of assurance automation, scoping, or other security work, and use this model to inform and drive our assessmentsDesign, build and manage a team of security engineers focused on both the unique systems and technologies used at MetaMinimum Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience5+ years of work experience, including 3+ years in recruiting, building and leading technical teams, including performance managementExperience translating technical concepts into language that is understood to audiences including software engineers, business and technical leadersExperience performing security assurance activities (reviews, SAST/DAST, mitigations)Experience in managing a team conducting assurance activitiesKnowledge and understanding of attack surfaces for productsExperience in at least one of PHP, Hack, Python, C, C++, or JavaExperience leading and managing cross-functional programsAbout Meta: Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
