As part of the team driving innovation across Meta's Horizon ecosystem, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing video-on-demand (VOD) content operations and supporting live event workflows on our cutting-edge media platforms.In this role, you will leverage your expertise in content management, quality assurance, and live operations to ensure seamless content delivery and platform reliability. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Content Moderation, QA, and Policy teams to enhance operational workflows and support the launch of new features and live events. Your operational insights will directly influence the evolution of our immersive social platforms, helping to deliver high-quality, compliant, and engaging experiences to our global community. Live Operations Platform Manager Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end VOD content operations, including asset intake, scheduling, and platform uploadsCoordinate content quality assurance and moderation pipelines to ensure compliance with Meta's policies and standardsMonitor and resolve content performance and functionality issues pre- and post-launchSupport Live Operations by assisting with live event monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident communicationCollaborate closely with product, engineering, content moderation, QA, and policy teams to optimize workflows and platform enhancementsContribute operational insights and support initiatives across Meta's broader Horizon ecosystemDocument processes, maintain operational playbooks, and mentor team membersMinimum Qualifications:Proven experience in media operations, content management, or content moderation at scale, within a tech or media environmentDemonstrated managing VOD and live content workflows, including asset ingestion, quality assurance, and deploymentTechnical aptitude with internal tools and platforms, including troubleshooting operational issuesProven communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with cross functional teamsExperience prioritizing effectively and adapting in an ambiguous environmentExperience being proactive with a solutions-oriented approachPreferred Qualifications: Prior work experience in VR or immersive social platformsFamiliarity with industry standards and compliance requirements for streaming and video contentDemonstrated analytical skills and experience documenting operational processesExperience contributing to or supporting live streaming event operationsAbout Meta: Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
