Full Description

Description Mercy Home for Children is recruiting for an Part-time (20 hours) Administrative Assistant, to work under the Chief Compliance Officer and provides administrative and clerical support to the Department to ensure the agency maintains compliance with OPWDD, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. Requirements • Provide administrative support to the Chief Compliance Officer and compliance team, including meeting coordination, and preparation of agendas and IRC minutes.? • Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy compliance files, including policies, audits, incident reports, investigations, and training records in accordance with OPWDD requirements. • Assist with preparing for and following up on internal and external audits, surveys, and reviews. • Track, log, and monitor compliance activities such as incidents/IRMA entries, corrective action plans, and ongoing compliance checks, and generate routine reports for leadership.? • Assist in collecting, compiling, and analyzing data related to compliance indicators, quality improvement projects, and OPWDD core competency requirements. Requirements are HSD/GED is required and some college preferred. Solid work experience with maintaining databases and able to handle multiple projects in a timely manner. Strong computer skills, organization skills and the ability to work with all level of staff. Work experience in an OPWDD field is strongly preferred. This position offers early work hours Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday, hourly rate from $20-$28 per hour, depending upon experience. To apply, forward updated resume to: mjenkins@mercyhomeny.org
