The team focuses on delivering the company's vision through electromyography (EMG) technology. As a Technical Program Manager, you will determine what is needed to build and deliver innovative products. You will be a critical member of a multi-disciplinary team contributing to efforts to gain a scientific understanding of haptics, human and machine perception, audio, input, and display technology, translating these into the ultimate user experience. The product engineering team explores, develops, and delivers new cutting-edge technologies into products, focusing on integrating and launching new technologies from early concept to launch while iterating, prototyping, and realizing the human value and new experiences they enable. As a Technical Program Manager for Product Design Engineering (PDE), you will play a key role in integrating new cutting-edge technologies into next-generation programs. You will define and drive highly complex, cross-functional integration plans for new product introductions and guide the product design engineering team in execution, including planning requirements, managing schedules, identifying and tracking risks, and associated mitigations. You will be responsible for communicating program status and risks to stakeholders. In this role, you will have a major impact on future products. You will establish requirements with internal and external customers, manage builds, part designs, component delivery schedules, identify risks and mitigation plans, and clearly communicate to program stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a solid technical foundation, is a natural motivator, a cross-functional relationship builder, and a champion for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced, innovative environment. ## Responsibilities - Work closely across engineering, product management, architecture, industrial design, operations, and other teams, driving and tracking the investigation, definition, and delivery of next-generation products. - Create development, delivery, and qualification strategies and schedules based on system and PDE parts requirements, technical challenges, lead times, and business needs. - Manage communication within and between internal engineering and external vendor teams. - Work with teams to set milestones, communicate program status, and identify/address potential setbacks. - Drive engineering teams to bring technical issues to closure. - Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and technology development processes in a quickly changing and dynamic environment to ensure on-time delivery. - Manage engineering builds from early prototyping through qualification builds. - Ensure program documents are complete, current, and available for staff and leadership review. - Contribute to resource planning and budget management to ensure program success. ## Qualifications - BS in an Engineering field, or equivalent experience. - 3+ years experience as a Program Manager managing PDE programs from concept to mass production, preferably for consumer electronic devices. - Experience with phase gate approach to technology development projects. - Experience with component and module qualification, validation, and characterization processes. - Knowledge of program issue/bug tracking and risk management. - Communication experience and experience working with technical teams. - Problem-solving and organizational experience. - Experience building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams. ## About Cincinnatus Cincinnatus is an enterprise staffing company that partners with leading technology companies to source and employ highly skilled professionals for full-time and long-term contingent roles.
