Role Overview: As the Customer Programs Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of public benefit programs, customer account management, and energy efficiency initiatives. Your role is pivotal in driving customer engagement and ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs that support the district’s energy resources goals. What You'll Do: - You will develop and implement public benefit programs that promote energy efficiency and sustainability. - You will manage customer accounts to ensure satisfaction and effective communication. - You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver quality energy programs. - You will analyze program performance data to identify opportunities for improvement. - You will oversee budget management and reporting for customer programs. - You will lead outreach and education efforts to increase customer participation. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. - You will mentor and support team members to foster professional growth. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy program management or a related field. - Strong knowledge of energy efficiency programs and public benefit initiatives. - Excellent project management and organizational skills. - Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within a public utility or government agency. - Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the energy sector. - Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent). - Background in customer engagement and marketing strategies.
