Role Overview: As the Customer Programs Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of public benefit programs, customer account management, and energy efficiency initiatives. Your role is pivotal in driving customer engagement and ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs that support the district's energy resources goals. What You'll Do: - You will develop and implement public benefit programs that align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. - You will manage customer accounts, ensuring excellent service and responsiveness to customer needs. - You will oversee energy efficiency programs, promoting sustainable practices among customers. - You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance program effectiveness. - You will analyze program data to measure success and identify areas for improvement. - You will prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. - You will ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and standards. - You will lead and mentor a team focused on customer program delivery. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably within the energy or utility sector. - Strong knowledge of energy efficiency programs and public benefit initiatives. - Excellent project management and organizational skills. - Proven ability to manage customer relationships and deliver high-quality service. - Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making. - Effective communication and leadership abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within a public utility or government agency. - Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to energy programs. - Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent). - Background in sustainability or environmental programs.
