Role Overview: As the Customer Programs Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of public benefit programs, customer account management, and energy efficiency initiatives. Your role is pivotal in driving customer engagement and ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs that support the district’s energy resources goals. What You'll Do: - You will develop and implement public benefit programs that promote energy efficiency and sustainability. - You will manage customer accounts to ensure satisfaction and effective service delivery. - You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to optimize program outcomes. - You will analyze program performance data to identify opportunities for improvement. - You will oversee quality assurance processes for all customer programs. - You will lead outreach and education efforts to increase customer participation. - You will prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. - You will stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting energy programs. What You Bring: - You have at least 5 years of experience in energy program management or a related field. - You possess strong knowledge of energy efficiency programs and public benefit initiatives. - You have excellent project management and organizational skills. - You demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal abilities. - You are proficient with data analysis tools and program evaluation techniques. - You hold a bachelor’s degree in business, environmental science, or a related discipline. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within a public utility or government agency. - Familiarity with California energy regulations and compliance requirements. - Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent). - Advanced skills in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
