Learn more at merative.com We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented M&A Program Manager to support the execution of acquisitions, integrations, and divestitures. This role will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure that deal-related activities are well-coordinated, on track, and aligned with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong project management skills, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to grow within a high-impact corporate development function. Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination: Support the planning and execution of M&A and divestiture projects, including pre-close readiness, Day 1 planning, and post-close integration/separation. Workstream Management: Coordinate cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, HR, IT, Product, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of key milestones and deliverables. Timeline & Risk Tracking: Maintain project plans, identify risks and dependencies, and escalate issues as needed to ensure smooth execution. Reporting & Communication: Prepare status updates, dashboards, and executive summaries for internal stakeholders and leadership. Playbook Execution: Apply and help refine M&A playbooks, templates, and best practices to drive consistency and efficiency across deals. Post-Close Support: Track synergy realization, integration KPIs, and lessons learned to inform future transactions. Qualifications: 5–7 years of experience in M&A integration, corporate development, management consulting, or enterprise project management. Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with the M&A lifecycle and experience supporting cross-functional initiatives. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, Confluence, Slack). Experience in healthcare or enterprise software is a plus. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus but not required. PMP or similar certification is a plus. Compensation The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.
