We’re looking for Critical Care APP to manage medical and surgical Critical Care Medicine patients in our 20-bed ICU, 15-bed Step-down unit and on the Critical Care Medicine Consult service. Role Overview: In this role, you’ll lead independently as part of the Rapid Response and Medical Code Teams, handle Sepsis Alerts, and provide critical care consultations across our main campus. You’ll also have the opportunity to master advanced procedures like central line and arterial line placements, as well as point-of-care ultrasound. Key Qualifications: Current New York State (NYS) RN and AGACNP license/registrations Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility) 2+ years of related clinical experience. Previous ICU, Critical Care, or experience treating high acuity patients highly preferred Related National NP certification BLS certification and DEA Certificate OR Graduate from an accredited PA program NCCPA certification Active NYS or be qualified for state licensure A minimum of 3 years of PA experience is preferred BLS certification and DEA Certificate Core Skills: Thrive in environments with complex and sometimes conflicting information. Skilled at gaining support and commitment by effectively engaging others around your priorities. Adaptable in both approach and demeanor, aligning with evolving demands and changing circumstances. Strong communicator, comfortable interacting with diverse teams and patient populations. Additional Information: Hours: Night Shift 7p-7:30a 12.5 hours; 13 shifts a month.
