Job Summary This position involves managing and supporting strategic and operational initiatives for a designated Service Line. You will work collaboratively with service line leadership, care delivery sites, regional administration, management teams, and medical staff, aligning with established goals and benchmarks. The role also requires supporting business development to ensure the successful implementation of strategic plans aimed at achieving business objectives and enhancing existing services through relationship-building with physicians, customers, and patient relations. You will report to either a Service Line VP, Service Line Program Director, or Care Delivery Site leadership, holding accountability to the respective leadership teams. Desired Skill Sets: • Experienced oncology nurse • Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) • At least 2-3 years of Oncology nursing experience is ideal Minimum Qualifications • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred; Associate's degree in a related field accepted; Master's degree preferred (unless specific burn requirements apply). • Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Texas nursing license (or temporary/compact) required for relevant service lines; no licenses/certifications are required for others. Experience / Knowledge / Skills: • Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare experience, with a preference for relevant clinical experience. • Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all staff levels. • Strong leadership abilities and experience managing change initiatives. • Dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized experiences while adhering to Memorial Hermann's service standards. Principal Accountabilities • Ensure achievement and maintenance of designation and/or verification requirements for the program at Care Delivery Sites. • Collaborate with leaders to develop corrective action plans for identified gaps, communicating deficiencies and action plans to upper administration. • Monitor the development and implementation of system-wide or CDS initiatives, ensuring delivery of high-quality care, recognizing achievements, and providing ongoing feedback. • Assist in executing service line strategic business plans and operational analyses, while remaining updated on field developments. • Support strategic planning and communicate effectively with stakeholders to enhance growth initiatives, quality outcomes, operational improvements, and patient satisfaction. • Coordinate efforts to meet program accreditation requirements efficiently. • Lead service line action plans related to medical staff development and strategic initiatives, monitoring performance metrics and reporting on progress. • Participate in performance and process improvement initiatives to implement strategic goals driven by care delivery site executives. • Manage service line performance metrics reflecting patient experience, quality, and outcomes. • Proactively seek opportunities to augment business and enhance relationships with physicians, customers, and patient relations. • Adhere to Memorial Hermann policies and budgetary constraints, ensuring safe care for all patients, staff, and visitors. • Commit to personal and professional growth by fulfilling mandatory/continuing education requirements and supporting departmental goals. • Perform other duties as assigned.
