Job Summary Position is responsible for managing large, complex projects in support of IT business objectives.Job Description Minimum Qualifications Education: Licenses/Certifications: Project management certification preferred Experience / Knowledge / Skills: • Seven (7) years experience in information systems • Five (5) years of project management experience, including projects of at least 9 months duration and $1 million budget • Demonstrated pattern of growth in ability to lead others • Strong planning and organizational skills • Record of consistent, effective use of project management methodology • Demonstrated record of effective communication with project sponsors, ISD management, and project team members • Demonstrated positive relationships with customers • Demonstrated record of bringing large projects to successful conclusion Principal Accountabilities • Provides leadership to large, complex projects. • Manages activities, staff, technical, financial, and administrative resources of a project. • Bears responsibility for project success. • Provides leadership and mentoring to Project Managers and Senior Project Managers. • Assists in developing on-going training for Project Managers. • Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service. • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff. • Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences.
