Locations: United States & United Kingdom Industry: Life Sciences / Biopharma Strategy Consulting Overview A high-growth, life sciences–focused consultancy is expanding its US and UK teams and is seeking experienced consultants at the Principal through VP II level. This firm partners exclusively with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and specialty life sciences organizations, delivering strategic advisory support across commercialization, market access, portfolio strategy, and corporate growth initiatives. Due to continued client demand and international expansion, they are investing in senior talent who can drive both client impact and practice growth. Key Responsibilities Depending on level (Principal vs VP II), responsibilities will include: • Leading high-impact strategic engagements for biopharma and life sciences clients • Advising senior stakeholders (including C-suite) on commercialization, launch readiness, pricing & market access, portfolio strategy, and growth initiatives • Structuring complex business problems and overseeing analytical workstreams • Translating data and insights into actionable strategic recommendations • Driving client relationship management and expanding account footprints • Contributing to business development efforts, proposal development, and thought leadership • Mentoring and developing junior consultants • Playing an active role in shaping practice strategy and team growth Ideal Candidate Profile Successful candidates will typically bring: • 7–15+ years of experience in life sciences consulting or biopharma strategy roles (level dependent) • Deep expertise in at least one of the following areas: • Commercial strategy • Market access & pricing • Portfolio / corporate strategy • Launch strategy • Therapeutic area strategy • Strong executive presence and client leadership capability • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple workstreams • Proven track record of delivering measurable client impact • Advanced degree preferred (MBA, PhD, MD, or equivalent) What This Role Offers • Pure-play focus on life sciences strategy • Exposure to high-visibility, senior-level engagements • Significant autonomy and leadership responsibility • Clear pathway to senior leadership and equity participation (VP level) • Opportunity to shape and scale a growing international practice • Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture Compensation Highly competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus, with equity participation available at senior levels.
