At my client, you’ll join a dedicated, expert team crafting meaningful narratives that shape public understanding and drive change. In the role of Director of Client Relations, you’ll be the lead strategic partner to top clients, overseeing account execution while mentoring and guiding the internal team. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to deliver excellence at every turn — strengthening relationships, driving growth, and shaping how the agency is perceived in the industry. Responsibilities: • Act as primary liaison between clients and internal teams, fostering strong relationships and serving as trusted advisor • Provide strategic counsel and issue management, anticipating challenges and proposing solutions • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and guide proposal development • Lead the execution of client programs, managing resources, productivity, and quality • Oversee writing, editing, and production of all client deliverables • Manage budgets, invoicing, and financial reporting • Support new business development: lead RFPs, conduct research, craft strategic direction, present proposals • Develop and maintain agency marketing materials that showcase capabilities and experience • Monitor agency health: flag risks/opportunities, advise leadership, and contribute insights • Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative team culture • Provide feedback, mentorship, and growth opportunities for junior staff • Address team dynamics proactively, escalating when needed • Ensure compliance with operational and billing procedures Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field • 6–7 years of PR/communications experience, preferably in healthcare or life sciences • Exceptional writing, editing, and attention to detail • Experience managing client accounts, staff, and budgets • Proficiency in Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and fluency in social media strategy • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate research into tactical execution Apply below or reach out directly to learn more!
