Senior Business Development Manager, Staffing Industry - Chicago, IL Our client, a privately held $120M staffing organization with a strong reputation and tenured leadership team, is seeking an experienced staffing Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth across key markets. This is a high-impact role for a proven sales leader who thrives on building relationships, winning new business, and expanding market share in staffing and workforce solutions. What you’ll do: • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth across target industries and accounts. • Identify, prospect, and secure new client relationships at the executive and decision-maker level. • Leverage the firm’s strong reputation and leadership team to win competitive opportunities. • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking, referrals, and consultative selling. • Collaborate with operations and recruiting teams to ensure seamless client delivery and satisfaction. • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements that align with company profitability goals. • Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and recommendations to leadership. • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence. What you need: • 7+ years of progressive sales/business development experience in staffing or workforce solutions. • Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and building long-term client partnerships. • Strong network of client relationships in Chicago and/or surrounding markets. • Consultative sales approach with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with an established infrastructure. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
