Role Overview: As an Occupational Health Call Center Clinician, you will serve as a vital resource for MedStar associates by delivering expert occupational health guidance and support remotely. Your role ensures that associates receive timely, accurate, and clinically sound information to maintain workplace health and safety. What You'll Do: - You will provide occupational health information and guidance to MedStar associates via the remote Occupational Health Call Center. - You will communicate current and accurate clinical information based on established guidelines and resources. - You will assess and triage health concerns related to workplace exposures, injuries, and illnesses. - You will document all interactions and maintain detailed records in compliance with organizational policies. - You will collaborate with healthcare providers and occupational health teams to coordinate care and follow-up. - You will educate associates on health and safety protocols, including infection control and return-to-work procedures. - You will participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance call center services and patient outcomes. What You Bring: - You bring a valid nursing license (RN or equivalent) with at least 3 years of clinical experience. - You bring strong knowledge of occupational health principles and workplace safety regulations. - You bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with associates. - You bring proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and call center technologies. - You bring the ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in occupational health or employee health services. - Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) or related credentials. - Familiarity with MedStar Health systems and protocols. - Background in public health or epidemiology.
