Role Overview: As an Occupational Health Call Center Clinician, you will play a vital role in supporting MedStar associates by providing expert occupational health guidance and information remotely. Your role ensures that associates receive timely, accurate, and clinically sound advice to maintain workplace health and safety. What You'll Do: - You will provide occupational health information and guidance to MedStar associates via the remote Occupational Health Call Center. - You will communicate current and accurate clinical information based on established guidelines and resources. - You will assess and triage health concerns related to workplace exposures and injuries. - You will document all interactions and maintain detailed records in compliance with healthcare regulations. - You will collaborate with healthcare providers and occupational health teams to coordinate care and follow-up. - You will stay updated on occupational health policies, procedures, and best practices. - You will support health promotion and injury prevention initiatives within the organization. What You Bring: - You have a valid nursing or clinical license (RN, NP, PA, or equivalent). - You have at least 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in occupational health or a related field. - You possess strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear, empathetic guidance remotely. - You are proficient with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technologies. - You have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a call center or remote clinical environment. - Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) or related credentials. - Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards. - Experience with health promotion and wellness program development.
