Role Overview: As an Occupational Health Call Center Clinician, you will play a vital role in supporting MedStar associates by providing expert occupational health information and guidance remotely. Your role ensures that associates receive accurate, timely, and clinically sound advice to maintain workplace health and safety. What You'll Do: - You will provide occupational health information and guidance to MedStar associates via the remote Occupational Health Call Center. - You will communicate current and accurate clinical information based on established guidelines and resources. - You will assess and triage health concerns related to workplace exposures and injuries. - You will document all interactions thoroughly and maintain confidentiality. - You will collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate follow-up care and referrals as needed. - You will stay updated on occupational health policies, procedures, and best practices. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the call center. What You Bring: - You bring a valid nursing or clinical license (RN, NP, PA) with at least 3 years of clinical experience. - You have experience in occupational health, urgent care, or a related clinical setting. - You possess strong communication and critical thinking skills to provide clear guidance remotely. - You are proficient with electronic health records and telehealth technologies. - You demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a call center or telehealth environment. - Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) or related credentials. - Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards. - Bilingual skills to support diverse associate populations.
