Role Overview: As an Occupational Health Call Center Clinician, you will play a vital role in supporting MedStar associates by providing expert occupational health guidance and information remotely. Your role ensures that associates receive timely, accurate, and clinically sound advice to maintain workplace health and safety. What You'll Do: - You will provide occupational health information and guidance to MedStar associates via the remote Occupational Health Call Center. - You will communicate current and accurate clinical information based on established guidelines and resources. - You will assess and triage health concerns related to workplace exposures, injuries, and illnesses. - You will document all interactions thoroughly and maintain confidentiality of associate health information. - You will collaborate with occupational health teams and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and follow-up. - You will stay updated on occupational health policies, procedures, and best practices. - You will support health promotion and injury prevention initiatives within the organization. What You Bring: - You have a valid nursing or clinical license (RN, NP, PA) with at least 3 years of clinical experience. - You possess strong knowledge of occupational health principles and workplace safety regulations. - You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with associates remotely. - You are proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies. - You demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in occupational health or employee health services. - Familiarity with MedStar Health policies and clinical guidelines. - Certification in occupational health nursing or related specialty. - Experience with call center or telephonic clinical support.
