Role Overview: As an Occupational Health Call Center Clinician, you will play a vital role in supporting MedStar associates by providing expert occupational health guidance and information remotely. Your role ensures that associates receive timely, accurate, and clinically sound advice to maintain workplace health and safety. What You'll Do: - You will provide occupational health information and guidance to MedStar associates via the remote Occupational Health Call Center. - You will communicate current and accurate clinical information based on established guidelines and resources. - You will assess and triage health concerns related to workplace exposures and injuries. - You will document all interactions and maintain detailed records in compliance with healthcare regulations. - You will collaborate with healthcare providers and occupational health teams to coordinate care and follow-up. - You will stay updated on occupational health policies, procedures, and best practices. - You will support health promotion and injury prevention initiatives within the organization. - You will respond promptly and professionally to associate inquiries, ensuring a positive service experience. What You Bring: - You bring a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in occupational health, nursing, or a related healthcare field. - You have a valid nursing license (RN or equivalent) and relevant certifications. - You possess strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. - You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with associates. - You are proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies. - You demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a call center or telehealth environment. - Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards. - Additional certifications in occupational health or case management. - Familiarity with MedStar Health systems and protocols.
