Description: The Financial Analyst reports to the Chief Financial Officer and works closely with the senior leaders across Medix Infusion to implement the financial strategy of the Company. The Financial Analyst will be a crucial member of the Finance Team, serving in an analytical, operationally oriented capacity. The Analyst should be able to effectively interpret financial data on both an integrated and detailed basis, allowing for the concise conveyance of business results and decision-making at the leadership level. Core duties of the Analyst include supporting annual, quarterly, monthly, and intra-monthly planning, analysis, and reporting activities. Ability to be nimble, think quickly, and work through ambiguity with regard to ad hoc analysis and special projects is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Build and update financial models in support of current growth strategies and analysis · Assist the Accounting function with month-end close process and comparison of actuals to historical trend and budget · Perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements · Support the annual strategic planning and budgeting process as well as the rolling forecast process · Aid in the construction and presentation of various investor and lender materials · Complete other ad-hoc analysis, projects, and duties as assigned Required Skills and Abilities: · Ability to effectively set priorities, manage multiple tasks and deadlines and produce quality work in a fast-paced environment · Strong attention to accuracy and detail · Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling · Be a team player working with multiple cross functional teams in a collaborative and constructive manner · Ability to analyze and interpret data and make recommendations · Ability to handle sensitive information ethically and responsibly and to protect the confidentiality of business information · Ability to work independently and as part of a team Education and Experience: · Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting · Three to five years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, or other related fields preferred · FP&A experience at a multi-site business preferred · Expert Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of sitting and/or being stationary at a desk. • Consistently uses computers and relays information via email, messaging and phone • Must communicate with others and exchange information frequently and on an on-going basis • Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs.
