Description The Regional Sales Manager (RM) is responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory. This role provides leadership, direction, and support to a team of Account Executives while ensuring execution of sales strategies, achievement of revenue targets, and development of high-performing sales professionals. Responsibilities include planning, reporting, goal setting, sales training, and fostering strong customer and manufacturer relationships. Essential Duties, Functions & Responsibilities: Expand new target accounts and increase revenue from existing accounts while achieving assigned sales quotas Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of Account Executives Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and performance management to sales team members Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders Lead weekly Plan of Action meetings with the sales team Monitor sales trends, performance metrics, and pipeline activity; report results to the Director of Sales (DOS) Conduct weekly ride-alongs with sales team members and provide documented feedback to the DOS Identify and address training, education, or support needs within the field proactively Foster a positive, growth-oriented team culture that supports professional development Establish monthly and annual sales objectives for the assigned region Collaborate routinely with the DOS on sales initiatives, strategies, and goals Ensure customer satisfaction and support account retention efforts Conduct annual performance reviews for sales team members Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across organizational, managerial, and individual performance Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external customers to resolve issues and problem-solve Utilize CRM systems to track activity, report performance, and monitor quality outcomes Qualifications / Required Education / Training Experience/Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred Minimum of 3–5 years of successful sales experience, including sales leadership or management experience Healthcare, infusion, pharmaceutical, or medical sales experience strongly preferred Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to motivate, influence, and manage diverse personalities Technology Skills: Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Strong presentation and written communication skills Mathematical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics Physical Demands Ability to travel frequently within assigned region Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Ability to operate a computer, phone, and other office equipment Performance Expectations All employees and contract employees of Medix Infusion are expected to: Adhere to all professional, ethical, and compliance standards of the healthcare industry Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance Interact honestly, respectfully, and dependably with patients, employees, and vendors Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity in all interactions Work Environment: This position operates in a combination of field, remote, and corporate office environments. Normal clinic conditions exist, including interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as masks, may be required when necessary. The Regional Sales Manager will also work remotely and from the corporate office in Addison as needed.
