Develop and administer data pipelines, data warehouse, and BI tools, transforming raw data into insights and creating reports and dashboards primarily using Power BI and SQL Server.
6+ years experience with advanced SSIS, Power BI, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, Python, healthcare data standards, and real-time data streaming expertise.
Description: • Responsible for the development and administration of data pipelines, the data warehouse, and BI tools. • Transform raw data into meaningful insights. • Work closely with the business to gather requirements and translate into a viable solution to solve complex business challenges. • Understand various database technology platforms and data relationships to develop robust reporting and analytic services. • Adhere to and serve as a data warehouse resource for the organization. • Present report data in Power BI in a meaningful way, accessible and clear for individuals at all levels of understanding. • Develop queries, functions, stored procedures, and views to support reporting and data extraction. • Significant experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI and up to date with the current version of Power BI and its capabilities. • Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL Server solutions, including stored procedures, SSIS packages, and views and other database objects. • Participate in team-based problem solving and multidisciplinary team use of various data-driven process improvement techniques. • Develop best practice procedures for end users to facilitate the use of reporting tools and applications. • Practice good software engineering techniques and standards to reduce coding errors and ensure robustness and efficiency of work products. Requirements: • BS/BA and 6+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 2 years of SME in respective areas • Advanced SSIS development skills, including automation, parameterization, and CI/CD deployment. • Advanced proficiency with ETL Framework, Power BI, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). • Advanced SQL Server expertise, including query tuning, indexing, and large-scale performance optimization. • Advanced Power BI skills, including dataset optimization, security configuration, and enterprise-level deployment. • Advanced and proven partition switching expertise in SQL Server. • Advanced expertise in working with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, X12 EDI, HIPAA compliance) • Strong knowledge of Power BI service. • Ensure code quality with Test Driven Development/unit testing. • Proficient in creating complex DAX queries in Power BI Desktop & Report Builder. • Strong knowledge of Power BI Report Builder tool. • Real-time data streaming experience • Experience working with Azure cloud-based data data engineering solutions. • Proficiency in Python programming language. • Familiarity with 340B program. • Preferred: Understanding of data lakehouse concepts • Strong experience with Azure Data Factory and/or Databricks Benefits: • Medical / Dental / Vision / Wellness Programs • Paid Time Off / Company Paid Holidays • Incentive Compensation • 401K with Company match • Life and Disability Insurance • Tuition Reimbursement • Employee Referral Bonus
