Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Remote Radiologist to join a hospital team in central Michigan. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely with a flexible schedule, supporting diagnostic imaging needs without the demands of on-call duties. What You'll Do: - You will interpret and analyze radiological images to assist in patient diagnosis. - You will collaborate with hospital staff remotely to provide timely and accurate reports. - You will manage a case volume averaging 75 RVUs per shift. - You will maintain compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards. - You will participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. - You will communicate findings clearly to referring physicians. - You will adapt to flexible scheduling including day, night, and swing shifts. What You Bring: - You have a medical degree with board certification in Radiology. - You have at least 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology. - You are proficient with PACS and other radiology information systems. - You have excellent communication skills for remote collaboration. - You are comfortable working independently in a remote setting. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a hospital or large healthcare system. - Familiarity with Michigan state medical regulations. - Subspecialty training or certification in areas such as neuroradiology or musculoskeletal radiology. - Prior experience with teleradiology platforms.
