Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Remote Radiologist to join a hospital team in central Michigan. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely with a flexible schedule, providing expert radiology services without the demands of on-call duties. You will play a critical role in delivering accurate diagnostic interpretations to support patient care. What You'll Do: - You will interpret radiology images and provide detailed diagnostic reports. - You will collaborate with hospital staff remotely to ensure timely and accurate case reviews. - You will manage a case volume averaging 75 RVUs per shift. - You will work flexible shifts including day, night, and swing options. - You will maintain compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards. - You will participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. - You will communicate effectively with clinical teams to support patient outcomes. What You Bring: - You have a medical degree with board certification in Radiology. - You have at least 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology. - You are proficient with PACS and other radiology information systems. - You have excellent communication skills for remote collaboration. - You are comfortable working independently in a remote setting. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with teleradiology platforms and workflows. - Subspecialty training or certification in areas such as neuroradiology or musculoskeletal radiology. - Familiarity with hospital accreditation standards and quality metrics. - Prior experience working with healthcare staffing agencies.
