Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Remote Radiologist to join a hospital team in central Michigan. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely with a flexible schedule, providing expert radiology services without the demands of on-call duties. What You'll Do: - You will interpret diagnostic imaging studies accurately and efficiently. - You will collaborate with the hospital’s clinical team to provide timely radiology reports. - You will manage a case volume averaging 75 RVUs per shift. - You will maintain compliance with all regulatory and quality standards. - You will participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care. - You will communicate effectively with referring physicians and healthcare staff. - You will adapt to flexible scheduling including day, night, and swing shifts. What You Bring: - You have a medical degree with board certification in Radiology. - You have at least 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology. - You are proficient in interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities. - You have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. - You are comfortable working remotely with reliable technology. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a remote radiology setting. - Familiarity with hospital information systems and PACS. - Additional subspecialty training or certifications. - Flexibility to cover various shifts as needed.
