Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Radiologist to join a hospital team in central Michigan remotely. This role offers a flexible schedule with no on-call duties, allowing you to provide expert radiology services from the comfort of your home while supporting the hospital’s diagnostic needs. What You'll Do: - You will interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies accurately and efficiently. - You will collaborate with the hospital’s clinical team to provide timely and clear radiology reports. - You will manage a case volume averaging 75 RVUs per shift, ensuring quality and productivity. - You will maintain compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards. - You will participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. - You will communicate effectively with referring physicians and healthcare staff. - You will adapt to flexible scheduling including day, night, and swing shifts. What You Bring: - You have a Medical Degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Radiology. - You possess at least 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology. - You are proficient with PACS and radiology information systems. - You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. - You hold a valid medical license to practice in Michigan or are eligible for licensure. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a remote radiology setting. - Subspecialty training or certification in areas such as neuroradiology or musculoskeletal radiology. - Familiarity with advanced imaging modalities like MRI and CT. - Prior experience with flexible shift work and managing high case volumes.
