Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Radiologist to join a hospital team in central Michigan remotely. This role offers a flexible schedule with no on-call duties, allowing you to provide expert radiology services from the comfort of your home while supporting the hospital’s diagnostic needs. What You'll Do: - You will interpret and analyze radiological images to assist in accurate diagnosis. - You will collaborate with the hospital’s medical team to provide timely and precise reports. - You will manage a case volume averaging 75 RVUs per shift. - You will maintain compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards. - You will participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. - You will adapt to flexible scheduling including day, night, and swing shifts. - You will utilize remote technology platforms to review and report cases efficiently. What You Bring: - You have a medical degree with board certification in Radiology. - You have at least 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology. - You are proficient with PACS and other radiology information systems. - You have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote teams. - You are detail-oriented with strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a remote radiology setting. - Familiarity with central Michigan healthcare systems. - Additional subspecialty certifications in areas such as neuroradiology or musculoskeletal radiology. - Prior experience with flexible shift scheduling.
