Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Remote Radiologist to join a hospital team in central Michigan. This role offers the opportunity to provide expert radiological services remotely, supporting patient diagnosis and treatment with a flexible schedule and no on-call responsibilities. What You'll Do: - You will interpret diagnostic imaging studies accurately and efficiently. - You will collaborate with hospital staff to ensure timely and precise reporting. - You will manage a case volume averaging 75 RVUs per shift. - You will maintain compliance with all regulatory and quality standards. - You will participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews. - You will communicate findings clearly to referring physicians. - You will adapt to flexible scheduling including day, night, and swing shifts. - You will utilize remote technology platforms to deliver seamless radiology services. What You Bring: - You have a medical degree with board certification in Radiology. - You have at least 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology. - You are proficient with PACS and other radiology information systems. - You have excellent communication and collaboration skills. - You are comfortable working independently in a remote setting. - You hold a valid medical license to practice in Michigan or are eligible for one. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with teleradiology platforms and workflows. - Subspecialty training or certification in areas such as neuroradiology or musculoskeletal radiology. - Familiarity with hospital accreditation standards and quality assurance processes. - Prior experience working with flexible shift schedules.
