Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Urologist to provide locum tenens coverage at a leading hospital in western Texas. This role involves delivering expert urological care to pediatric patients in both clinical and surgical settings, supporting the hospital’s ongoing patient care needs. What You'll Do: - You will provide comprehensive pediatric urology care in clinic and operating room settings. - You will manage a patient census of 15-20, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care. - You will work 8-hour shifts, covering two weeks per month. - You will respond to overnight beeper call shifts as required, providing timely consultation and intervention. - You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans. - You will maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with hospital policies. - You will participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. What You Bring: - You have a medical degree and board certification in Pediatric Urology. - You possess at least 3 years of clinical experience in pediatric urology. - You have strong surgical skills and experience in pediatric urologic procedures. - You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - You are comfortable managing call responsibilities and working independently.
