Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Teleradiologist to join our team remotely, supporting healthcare facilities in Spokane, Washington. This locum opportunity offers a daytime schedule with no on-call responsibilities, allowing you to maintain a balanced work-life routine while delivering expert radiology interpretations. What You'll Do: - You will interpret and report on diagnostic imaging studies remotely, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. - You will collaborate with healthcare teams to provide critical insights that support patient diagnosis and treatment. - You will manage a case volume averaging 8-10 RVUs per hour, maintaining high productivity standards. - You will adhere to all regulatory and facility-specific protocols to ensure compliance and quality. - You will participate in quality assurance activities to continuously improve diagnostic accuracy. - You will communicate effectively with referring physicians and clinical staff to clarify findings and recommendations. - You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiology best practices and emerging technologies. What You Bring: - You have a medical degree with board certification in Radiology. - You possess at least 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably with teleradiology exposure. - You are proficient in interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities including X-ray, CT, and MRI. - You have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with remote teams. - You are comfortable working independently in a remote setting with strong time management skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with healthcare facilities in the Spokane, WA area. - Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems used in teleradiology. - Additional subspecialty certifications such as neuroradiology or musculoskeletal radiology. - Prior locum tenens or telemedicine experience.
