Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Teleradiologist to join our team remotely, supporting healthcare facilities in Spokane, Washington. This locum opportunity offers a daytime schedule with no on-call responsibilities, allowing you to maintain a balanced work-life routine while delivering expert radiology services. What You'll Do: - You will interpret and report on diagnostic imaging studies with accuracy and efficiency. - You will collaborate with healthcare teams to provide timely and clear radiology reports. - You will manage a case volume averaging 8-10 RVUs per hour. - You will maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility-specific protocols. - You will utilize teleradiology technology to review and communicate findings remotely. - You will participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. - You will ensure patient confidentiality and data security in all communications. What You Bring: - You have a valid medical license to practice radiology in Washington State or eligibility to obtain one. - You have at least 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably with teleradiology exposure. - You possess strong knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS). - You demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clinical teams. - You are detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient care. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a locum tenens or remote radiology role. - Fellowship training or subspecialty expertise in areas such as neuroradiology or musculoskeletal radiology. - Familiarity with advanced imaging modalities like MRI and CT. - Prior experience with quality assurance programs in radiology.
