Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Daytime Teleradiology Locum Radiologist to join our team supporting facilities in Spokane, Washington. This remote role offers a balanced schedule with no call requirements, allowing you to provide expert radiology interpretations during daytime hours while maintaining work-life balance. What You'll Do: - You will interpret and report on diagnostic imaging studies remotely, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. - You will collaborate with healthcare teams to provide critical insights that support patient diagnosis and treatment. - You will manage a case volume averaging 8-10 RVUs per hour, maintaining high productivity standards. - You will adhere to facility protocols and quality assurance measures to ensure compliance and patient safety. - You will communicate effectively with referring physicians and staff to clarify findings and recommendations. - You will participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with radiology advancements. What You Bring: - You have a medical degree with board certification or eligibility in Radiology. - You possess at least 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably with teleradiology exposure. - You are proficient in interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. - You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. - You hold an active medical license to practice in Washington State or are eligible to obtain one. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a locum tenens or telemedicine environment. - Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems used in teleradiology. - Additional subspecialty training or certification in areas such as neuroradiology or musculoskeletal imaging. - Strong technological aptitude and comfort with remote diagnostic tools.
