Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Daytime Teleradiology Locum Radiologist to join our team supporting facilities in Spokane, Washington. This remote role offers a consistent daytime schedule with no call responsibilities, allowing you to focus on delivering accurate and timely radiology interpretations. What You'll Do: - You will interpret and report on radiology cases remotely, maintaining high accuracy and efficiency. - You will manage a case volume averaging 8-10 RVUs per hour, ensuring timely turnaround. - You will collaborate with facility teams to support patient care through clear and concise communication. - You will adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards related to teleradiology practice. - You will maintain detailed documentation and reporting for all cases reviewed. - You will participate in quality assurance activities to uphold clinical standards. - You will stay current with advances in radiology and teleradiology technologies. What You Bring: - You have a valid medical license to practice radiology in Washington State or eligibility to obtain one. - You have at least 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably with teleradiology exposure. - You possess strong proficiency in interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities including X-ray, CT, and MRI. - You have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with remote teams and healthcare providers. - You demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to manage workload efficiently. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a locum tenens or remote radiology role. - Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems used in teleradiology. - Additional certifications such as ABR or CAQ in subspecialty areas. - Prior experience with quality assurance and compliance in radiology.
