Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Teleradiologist to join our team remotely, supporting healthcare facilities in Spokane, Washington. This locum opportunity offers a daytime schedule with no on-call responsibilities, allowing you to maintain a balanced work-life routine while delivering expert radiology interpretations. What You'll Do: - You will interpret and report on diagnostic imaging studies remotely, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. - You will collaborate with healthcare teams to provide expert radiological insights that support patient diagnosis and treatment. - You will manage a case volume averaging 8-10 RVUs per hour, maintaining high productivity standards. - You will adhere to all regulatory and facility-specific protocols to ensure compliance and quality. - You will participate in quality assurance activities to continuously improve diagnostic accuracy. - You will maintain clear and professional communication with referring physicians and clinical staff. - You will utilize advanced teleradiology technology to efficiently review and report cases. What You Bring: - You have a medical degree with board certification in Radiology. - You possess at least 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably with teleradiology exposure. - You are proficient in interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. - You have strong knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS). - You demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in locum tenens or remote radiology roles. - Familiarity with Spokane-area healthcare facilities and their protocols. - Additional subspecialty certifications such as neuroradiology or musculoskeletal radiology. - Experience with advanced teleradiology platforms and workflow optimization.
