Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Teleradiologist to join our team remotely, supporting healthcare facilities in Spokane, Washington. This locum opportunity offers a daytime schedule with no on-call responsibilities, allowing you to maintain a balanced work-life routine while delivering expert radiology interpretations. What You'll Do: - You will interpret and report on diagnostic imaging studies with accuracy and efficiency. - You will collaborate with healthcare teams to provide timely radiology consultations. - You will maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility-specific protocols. - You will manage a case volume averaging 8-10 RVUs per hour. - You will utilize advanced teleradiology technology to review and communicate findings. - You will ensure clear and concise documentation of all radiology reports. - You will participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. What You Bring: - You have a valid medical license and board certification in Radiology. - You have at least 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably with teleradiology exposure. - You possess strong knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS). - You demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. - You have proficiency in interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a remote teleradiology setting. - Familiarity with Spokane-area healthcare facilities and protocols. - Additional certifications in subspecialty areas such as neuroradiology or musculoskeletal radiology. - Experience with quality improvement projects in radiology.
