Experience may substitute for education requirement. • Experience with popular DBMS like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MariaDB • Experience with ETL processes and ETL tools such as SSIS and scripting for data manipulation • Two (2) years practical experience working with SQL and relational databases in a professional setting, required. • Experience with data commonly collected and managed in healthcare organizations preferred • Proficiency in English Skills: • A strong command of SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and understanding concepts like JOINs, GROUP BY, and subqueries • Ability to perform database administration functions including installation, configuration, monitoring, maintaining, and improving performance • Knowledge of ETL processes and use of ETL tools such as SSIS • Knowledge of, and ability to use SSRS • Knowledge of, and ability to use Visual Studio • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities. • Demonstrates the ability to provide effective and polite customer service to internal and external customers; treats others with dignity and respect • Understanding how to design and structure databases, including creating tables, indexes, and defining relationships • Ability to optimize data queries by identifying and resolving performance issues in SQL queries • Proficiency with data storage systems, database management, and data-oriented programming languages • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve complex problems • Capability to troubleshoot database problems and improve existing processes • Meticulous approach to information verification and data accuracy • Ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner • Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating and explaining technical concepts Responsibilities: • Implement, maintain, and support analytics and visualization applications that transform raw data into meaningful information for analysis and interpretation • Design, develop and maintain databases, including data dictionaries and models • Collect, verify, and ensure the accuracy of data from various sources • Extract meaningful information, interpret data, and generate complex queries and reports • Configure, maintain and support report and data file distribution • Manage database backups, recovery procedures, and access control to ensure security and integrity • Analyze and make recommendations on projects of significant scope requiring advanced analytical judgment • Configure, monitor, and maintain data storage, especially databases • Configure, monitor, and maintain data transfers and exchange • Provide support and training to end users on data models and reporting tools/applications • Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and quality.
