Medical Oxygen and Supplies Medical Supply Office/ Warehouse-Full/Part time position-Starting Pay $16.50-20.00 We are currently operational in both our Los Angeles and Orange County. We offer a fun, dynamic, and competitive workplace full of learning opportunities and growth. Looking for customer service, support and warehouse for fast paced, busy service company. Candidate should be extremely detail oriented, have strong phone and customer service/sales skills and experience, and able to handle multiple incoming phone calls. Excellent organization and communication, logistics/routing/planning skills a plus. Ability to work well under pressure and multi task with a positive, team player attitude. Previous dispatch experience a plus, as well as experience within the Medical Supply industry. Job Summary: To provide service in office to customers and perform necessary work as directed which includes warehouse clerk receivals, unpacking, checking, and storing equipment and supplies. General Accountabilities: - Reviews work orders and delivery tickets from departments or complaints from customers and records type and scope of service to be performed. - Contacts vendors, suppliers and yard supervisor as needed to verify availability of equipment and inventory to ensure scheduled work performance. -Receives check in calls from service workers by radio, telephone, or in person. -Informs drivers of type and location of work to be performed and dispatches drivers to jobs. -Keeps records of equipment condition, location, delivery and removal, and time required on each job. - Calling of potential clients -light equipment repair and maintenance -Packages and prepares equipment and supplies prior to distribution. -Fills orders by preparing supplies to be distributed to patients. -Processes paperwork for distribution of equipment and supplies. -Ensures distribution forms, requisitions, purchase order forms and packaging slips are completed accurately. -Performs quality assurance checks on all products received before stocking or distributing goods. -Ensures warehouse is maintained in an efficient, clean and safe manner. -Reports stock levels to supervisor. -Assists with the ordering of equipment and supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels. -Assists in completing periodic inventory count. -Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment. -Performs minor equipment repair and maintenance as required. Maintains files on all equipment. -Acts as back-up to delivery employees when necessary. -May deliver equipment to home healthcare patients. -May set up and instruct patients on the basic use of their medical equipment, as approved or allowed by local and state licensure limitations. -Assists patients in solving problems regarding equipment use. -May perform other delivery duties as assigned. -Performs other duties as required. - Part of the On-Call rotation.
