Job Description The Medical Clinic of Northville is a private practice specializing in Primary Care and Internal Medicine facility in downtown Northville providing a full spectrum of healthcare services for patients across their lifespan. Our practice philosophy is to combine traditional primary care medicine using our in-house lab and radiology services including X-ray, Ultrasound and Bone Density, with a blending of holistic treatments depending on the needs of individual patients and the comfort level of the provider. We feel this approach provides a more comprehensive solution to health care problems and greatly improves patient satisfaction. This entails several phone calls after hours each week. The provider on call also works the Saturday shift. The call is very light. Required education and experience: • This is an Advanced Practice Professional (APP) job opening. • Only Physician Assistant applicants will be considered. Physician Assistant: • Satisfactory completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or one of its predecessor agencies, CAHEA or CAAHEP. • Certification by the National Commission of Certification for Physician Assistants (NCCPA) • Current unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Michigan • Current DEA registration • State of Michigan Controlled Substance License • AHA approved BLS Certification • Relevant clinical and EMR experience practicing as an APP • Experience in family medicine and urgent care. Physician Assistant’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician. • Use a patient-centered approach to assessment, treatment and follow-up care, providing a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan for each patient. • Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform comprehensive physical examination. • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation • Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses and injuries, such as infections, fractures, and lacerations • Prescribe and administer medications, as appropriate. • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, lab tests, and EKG's Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $110,000.00 per year Experience: • Physician Assistant: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: • Physician Assistant License (Required) Work Location: In person
