Medical Billing Senior Account Manager Medical Billing Management has served the billing needs of dozens of physician and behavioral health practices throughout the U.S. for the past 34 years. We are a fun, family-friendly company with wonderful associates who have been with us for many years. We are seeking a Senior Account Manager for NetSmart billing to join our team working either in our offices in Topsfield, MA or remotely. The applicant will manage multiple accounts. In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks requiring data analysis, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills. As a senior account manager, your daily duties will include verifying and submitting claims, appealing denied claims, posting payments, managing A/R and corresponding with our clients. To succeed in this role, you must be able to work independently and possess in-depth knowledge of ECW.. The ideal candidate must also be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as communicating with clients and various insurance payors will form a large part of the job. Responsibilities: Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies. Ensure the patient’s medical information is accurate Prepare patient statement invoices Monitor and record late payments. Follow-up on missed payments and resolve financial discrepancies. Investigate and appeal denied claims. Maintain billing software by updating rate change, cash spreadsheets, and current collection reports. End of month reporting Requirements: A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Medical Biller 3rd party billing company experience preferred ECW experience is a must. Experience using various clearinghouses is a plus. Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records. Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities.
