Genius is seeking a Senior Integrated Marketing Strategist to lead concept development, writing, and managing integrated marketing proposals for various advertising partners – bringing new ideas to life and guiding branded content programs from initial brainstorming to pitch. With a focus on Genius, you will be responsible for owning the RFP process from start to finish and developing best-in-class proposals that move the needle for brands. What You’ll Do: Interpret briefs and partner with internal teams to develop RFP response strategies for clients and categories. You will lead brainstorms, proposal development, and final presentation of creative solutions. Be an experienced member of the Marketing team. You are a go-to resource for answering client feedback and offering guidance to other Strategists with their own proposal work. Proactively identify and develop new opportunities and go-to-market packages for various cultural tentpoles and initiatives throughout the year. Help manage the Integrated Marketing workflow system and expertly communicate with different teams throughout the RFP pitch process. Be an industry sponge–understand trends in the market and bring first-class insights to the team that help inform future integrated marketing efforts. ​​Build strong partnerships with organizations around the company, including Social, Product, Account Management, Community, Design, etc. Comfortable managing multiple projects and working with tight deadlines. What We’re Searching for 5-10 years of relevant integrated marketing experience–preferably in a role focused on responding to RFPs at a media company or entertainment property. Experience leading the pre-sales RFP process, including organizing and leading creative brainstorms, building decks, and working/liaising across multiple departments (Direct Sales, Content, Social, Product). Has experience developing large branded content programs that include custom video, editorial, tech, and experiential. Cross-vertical experience is a must. Foundational knowledge of Genius’s core audience and how to engage them through different topics across music, entertainment, and internet culture trends. An independent self-starter who can be an integral part of the process–exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. Up-to-date on the latest branded content trends and can bring new formats to the table. Experience working in music, internet culture, or fashion is a plus. Proficient in Google Slides, Keynote, and/or Powerpoint Flexible and open to remote locations Bachelor's Degree: Preferred Marketing or related field
