Your Role at Genius Genius is seeking a strategic and results-driven VP, Brand Partnerships to lead revenue efforts across the West + Central regions. This leader will oversee regional sales strategy, drive new business, and cultivate high-impact partnerships with brands and agencies. This VP will lead a high-performing sales team, expand Genius’s advertiser footprint, and deliver innovative solutions that leverage our unique position in music and culture. This role reports directly into our VP, Sales. What You’ll Do • Own revenue goals for the West + Central regions ensuring consistent growth across direct and programmatic channels. • Lead and inspire a team of regional sellers setting clear performance expectations, team development plans and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability. • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with top brand marketers, media agencies, and holding companies. • Collaborate on new opportunities for revenue expansion, including branded content, custom activations, sponsorships, and emerging ad formats. • Deliver accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management to leadership. • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive activity to inform strategy and client conversations. • Act as a key face of Genius in the West + Central regions, representing the brand at industry events, conferences, and with top clients. What We’re Searching For • 7+ years as an individual contributor with 3+ years of sales team management experience, preferably in digital media or content-driven environments. • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and growing enterprise-level client relationships. • Deep relationships with senior-level brand and agency decision-makers. • Expertise in digital advertising, branded content, video, and programmatic solutions. • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a sharp understanding of how to manage challenging client dynamics and teams. • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, creative, and strategy teams. • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment. • A passion for music, culture, and storytelling. • Strong presentation and proposal development skills.
